"William Miller: So Russell... what do you love about music?

Russell Hammond: To begin with, everything.

For three consecutive days, i've drawn out watching one of my all-time favourite films - Almost Famous.
It's one of the best things to watch a movie that is not only magic but is clearly made by someone who loves music. I don't see the point of a film without a good soundtrack, it's the backbone of the story and it makes me envious every time a piece of music kicks in to compliment a monumental/subtle/inconsequential moment in the story. 'Cause really, who wouldn't want a soundtrack to their life.
Elizabethtown is another example of Cameron Crowe's musical infatuation, a lesser film but one that won me over with its soundtrack and road maps.
If you're a music lover and you haven't watched either, shame on you.
