I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.
I was going to put a different quote but really, what's the point?
Roy Batty's parting lines are sheer perfection.
Speaking of the ideal.
Tonight was a night for watching Still Crazy.
This movie never shifts from it's rightful place in my list of most beloved movies.
The cast, the humour, the music.
Especially the music.
I still get shivers during the closing scene.
There is no way i will ever lose my love for this film.
Ever, ever.
Did you know that Rutger Hauer improvised his final speech in Blade Runner?
Not once does the word Tannhauser appear in the original script.
Seemingly, Hauer felt an affintity between his character, Roy Batty and the legend of the medieval German knight and poet who fell from grace with men and god.
At least, that's what i hear.
And i think that's pretty cool.
