In a flattering turn of events, my drawing 'Darkest Dreaming' has been used to illustrate a story featured in Unlikely Story's 6th collection of fictitious tales.
This is the first time my work's been published and it's been done in a way that is particularly close to my heart, illustratively.
I didn't study Illustration at university, Fine Art was my specialism but since i've had any awareness of my 'artistic ability' i have always taken my very first step into a new piece of work with literature at its origin.
Be it poetry, fiction, lyrics, even a phrase heard in passing.
It's where i begin and subsequently finish.
So it makes me stupidly happy to have my work used for these purposes and for a story that had me intrigued from beginning to end.
