Kateřina Čupová didn't win and the People's Choice: Lulu Chen didn't win and I don't like the illustrator chosen:

So who has won #BICAwards2019 and will illustrate the new Folio edition of Diana Wynne Jones's Howl's Moving Castle? Our winner is... Marie-Alice Harel @maharelillo! Many congratulations Marie-Alice! Folio's Art Director Sheri Gee says: 'Narrowing it down to five runners-up and a winner was no easy task but we couldn't ignore the beauty and skill in @maharelillo's fairy-tale inspired illustrations. I'm looking forward to working with her on the rest of the commission.' That's it for #BICAwards2019! The next Book Illustration Competition will be announced and open in the Autumn later this year. If you'd like to enter, follow us and @illustrationhq for the first news on it! Congratulations and thank you again to all of the artists that entered this year. #foliosociety #bookillustrationcompetition #bic2019 #bookillustration #illustration #illustratedbooks #illustrationcompetition #houseofillustration #mariealiceharel

I'm super bummed.
I will not be adding this to my collection.
What was the point of us voting, Folio Society?
