Important: don't raise the degree

For Chauvin to be found guilty we NEED the charge to stay at 2nd degree. Pls don't push for "raise the degree" and make sure you keep yourself and others educated!! I know 1st degree sounds good but Chauvin rotting in jail sounds even better #blacklivesmatter #georgefloyd Okay this blew up & I have talked with many people (some lawyers, some not) so pls read these additions and my comment on the post: -Premeditation can be the instant before the death, it doesn't have to be a long planned thing. -Chauvin can be found guilty of 2nd if he is found not guilty of 1st as long as it's in the same trial. My slide on double jeopardy should have stated he can't be tried again IF THE FIRST TRIAL ENDS -Chauvin can be charged with 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree if the prosecutor chooses -Chauvin was charged actually with unintentional 2nd degree murder This post should not be the only research you do on this so please do your own research for more info
